Pizza Pilgrims launched five years ago in London. They’ve now got a few pizza joints across the capital, run by brothers James and Thom, who went to Italy to learn the noble art of pizza-making. And they’ve since partnered with Blur’s Alex James, whose cheese company is now providing them with toppings. Their latest pizza is, accordingly, called ‘Song Blue (Cheese)’.
The brothers are pretty excited about it: “We had an amazing weekend serving pizzas out of our pizza van at Big Feastival on Alex James’ farm,” they say. “Alex was DJing all weekend next to our stall so we kept him fed with pizzas using his cheese. This was the favourite of the weekend so we thought we’d bring it back to London!”

Now that it’s being served down in the capital, there’s a special offer going on, starting today, Tuesday September 13, and continuing until Tuesday October 14. To get any free pizza – normally priced at £10 – you just need to bring along an Oasis CD. We’re yet to hear from the Gallagher brothers what they think of the cheeky marketing stunt, but what we’re really wondering is what’s going to happen to all those Oasis CDs at the end of it all…
