She also performed her new single ‘Ain’t My Fault’ during her intimate performance at the BBC’s flagship station. Watch both below.
‘Ain’t My Fault’ is Larsson’s follow-up to the trio of Top Five hits she has already racked up in 2016. Her solo single ‘Lush Life’ peaked at Number Three, while both MNEK duet ‘Never Forget You’ and Tinie Tempah collaboration ‘Girls Like’ climbed to Number Five.
Her collaboration with David Guetta, ‘This One’s For You’, the official song of the UEFA Euro 2016 football tournament, also cracked the Top 20.
In July, she took to Twitter to respond to distressing news that a woman had reportedly been raped during her set at a Swedish festival. Tweeting in her native Swedish, Larsson wrote: “Fuck you who shamelessly raped a girl in the audience. You deserve to burn in hell. Fuck you for making girls feel insecure when they go to a festival. I hate guys. Hate hate hate.”
She added: “It’s not fucking hard to be generalised. It’s hard to feel insecure about a festival where you just wanna go to have fun and enjoy. BUT YOU CAN’T, BECAUSE OF MEN. UGH.”
